Ruth Shepard- First vice President
2 years of service 

Ruth Shephard is a Vocational Disability Examiner for the MRC/DDS office in Worcester, MA. She earned a BA in Social Work from the Interamerican University in Puerto Rico. Her work experience includes Community and Medical Social Worker, Victim Witness Advocate, Vocational Rehab Counselor  and Mental Health Case Manager. She also worked as a pastor for the Iglesia de Dios de la Profecia several years ago and as an Interim Pastor in recent years.  

 

Juan Melo- Second Vice President-
2 years of service 

Reverend Juan Melo began his ministerial career over 30 years ago as a pastor at the church of God of Prophecy. Mr. Melo earned his associate degree in theology in 1979 at the Church of God Biblical institute. Mr. Melo received his bachelor degree in Urban Ministerial Education at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, currently is working on earning his master degree at the same institution. Mr. Melo currently sits in a number of boards of director including AMEDAL and La Verdad en Accion. Mr. Melo is known for being very active in the community he serves. Mr. Melo is known for being very passionate on issues related to immigration and social justice.   

 

Juan William- Secretary 
1 ½ years of service 

Mr. Williams is currently a Treasurer for the Church of God of Prophecy in Lawrence MA. Mr. Williams has served as a Treasurer for a number of years. Mr. Williams is well known in the city of Lawrence MA for his passion and devotion in helping the community to be a better place. Mr. Williams is also working on his Bachelor in ministry from Gordon -Conwell Theological Seminary.  

 

Cesar Hilton- Treasurer 
1 ½ years of service 

Cesar Hilton has been an employee of Sourcecode for the past 5 years. Mr. Hilton has served as a volunteer in a number of non-profit organization in the community of Lawrence MA, including Centro de Apoyo Familiar (CAF). Mr. Hilton is known in his community for being active in making changes that leads to a healthy social life in the community of Lawrence MA.  

 

Victor Jarvis- Community Liaison
1 year of service
 

Reverend Victor Jarvis began his ministerial career in 1982 as a pastor for the First Pentecostal Church of God. Currently Mr. Jarvis serves as a senior pastor at the Christian Church Ebenezer, Inc.  Mr. Jarvis earned his bachelor’s degree in 1984 in the Gaston Fernando Deligne in Puerto Rico.  Mr. Jarvis is currently working on his Masters at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary at Jamaica Plain, MA.  Mr. Jarvis has served as a member of the board of advisors and directors for a number of institutions including:  Ministerio Evangelistico Del Area de Lawrence (AMEDAL), Merrimack Valley Project (MVP), City of Lawrence Human Right Commission, City of Lawrence Weed and Seed Program. Mr. Jarvis is a very enthusiastic leader and activist for the city of Lawrence and all of the Merrimack Valley.

 

Gabriela Garcia- Assistant Secretary

Reverend Gabriela Garcia initiated her ministerial career in 1996 as a pastor for Methodist Church.  She was also ordained as an elder in the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church.  Pastor Garcia earned her master in Divinity and in Mental Health in 1996 from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.  She is well known in the City of Lawrence for the help that she gives to the families she comes in contact with.
