Welcome to Centro de Apoyo Familiar (CAF)
Dear Clients, Friends and Supporters of CAF, We are delighted that you are visiting our website. I am proud to introduce to you our organization, a non-profit agency serving the Latino community. Our mission is to serve as a clearinghouse of information for social and housing related services. Our areas of expertise are housing, homeownership and foreclosure prevention. Following our mission, we have redirected our services to provide one-on-one counseling, case management, loan modification and refinancing and referrals to help ameliorate the current economic crisis in the housing industry. To support our community, we embrace the “Make Home Affordable Program,” a comprehensive initiative announced by the Obama Administration which will allow millions of distressed homeowners to modify or refinance their mortgage loans at no cost. As the last segment of the U.S. population to become investors as homeowners, Latinos have also been the ones severely affected by sub-prime, predatory and abusive lenders.
